| Mekong River Aerial Survey |
|
WWF Greater Mekong Program commissioned Adam Oswell to photograph key sites along the Mekong river in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Along with Mark Silverberg from Paramotor Thailand and Cesar Moldanado, one of the world's best paramotor pilots, we spent over a month documenting threatened sites from northern Thailand down to the Mekong delta in Vietnam. This was also the first time flight clearence was given to fly remote regions in Cambodia and the Khone falls. The last great wetlands along the Mekong are now at risk from dam developments that threaten to destroy these incredibly valuable critically endangered ecosystems. This project aims to illustrate and highlight the unique biodiversity and cultures that rely on the one of the world's greatest river systems.
